Manufactured to the same high standards as our Dock Levellers, Dock Plates and Bridge Plates can give you the same safe working loads as a Dock Leveller. But take up a fraction of the space. Both are operated manually with the Bridging Plate being assisted by a gas strut and the Edge of Dock being counterbalanced for ease of operation.

The Bridge Plates can be made from either steel or aluminium nonslip plate and come in most RAL colours. Bridge Plate can be supplied along with a set of Dock Solutions adjustable neoprene dock bumpers and a Dock Solutions DS3000 retractable shelter. The system was completed with safety traffic lights to control the loading bay operation.

Why should I choose a Bridge Plate or Dock Plate?

This is a very cheap alternative to fitting a traditional dock leveller. It is relatively quick and easy to install, saving time and money. Bridge plates capacity range from 1,000kg to 6,000kg. It performs the simple function of bridging the gap between the dock and the back of the trailer, allowing for easy loading/unloading.

The Manual Bridge Plate or Dock Plate is also very simple to operate, no buttons to press and no need to feed electricity onto the dock area to power it.
